24-hour hackathon held 27-28 February 2026 in Berlin. 76 participants in 17 teams tackled challenges in protein design, genome modeling, and agentic AI for life sciences.
The Berlin Bio x AI Hackathon brought together 76 participants from life sciences, computer science, and engineering for an intensive 24-hour event on 27-28 February 2026. From ~400 applications, teams worked on three challenge tracks: Protein Design, Genome Modeling & Synthesis, and Agentic AI in Life Sciences.
Challenge partners included Adaptyv, Serova Bio, and Google DeepMind. The event concluded with a public pitch showcase attended by 350+ people.
