DBiTplus: integration of imaging-based and sequencing-based spatial omics on the same tissue section
DBiTplus combines sequencing-based spatial transcriptomics and multiplexed protein imaging on the same tissue section, enabling single-cell-resolution cell typing alongside transcriptome-wide pathway analysis.
DBiTplus is an integrative multimodal spatial omics approach published in Nature Methods. It combines sequencing-based spatial transcriptomics with multiplexed protein imaging on the exact same tissue section, using spatial barcoding and RNase H-mediated cDNA retrieval to preserve tissue architecture.
Demonstrated on frozen mouse embryos and FFPE human lymph node and lymphoma tissues, DBiTplus includes computational pipelines for imaging-guided deconvolution to generate single-cell-resolved spatial transcriptome atlases.
